Sensitive Information Is Not Collected by Email or Web Form

Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, driver’s license numbers, or dates of birth by email or through any form on this website. Standard email is not a secure medium.

We collect this information by telephone at (480) 630-6177 or through a secure document portal. This practice is consistent with the FTC Safeguards Rule and SEC Regulation S-P.

Privacy of Client Financial Information (Regulation S-P)

For clients of the firm, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and SEC Regulation S-P require us to explain how we handle nonpublic personal information, which means personally identifiable financial information you provide to us or that we obtain in connection with providing services to you.

Where we collect it

• Account applications, planning questionnaires, and information you give us in meetings

• Transactions with us, our custodian, or product sponsors

• Verification or consumer reporting services, where applicable to an application

What we disclose

We do not disclose nonpublic personal information about current or former clients to nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by law. Permitted disclosures include those necessary to service your accounts, those made to our supervising registered investment advisor and to service providers acting on our behalf, and those required by regulators or legal process.

If our practices change in a way that would require us to offer you the ability to opt out of a disclosure, we will notify you and provide that opportunity before the disclosure is made.

How We Protect Your Information

We maintain written policies along with physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect your information. These include:

• Encrypted transmission of documents through a secure portal rather than standard email

• Access controls that limit information to those who need it to perform their role

• Multi-factor authentication on business systems

• Secure disposal of paper and electronic records, consistent with Arizona Revised Statutes section 44-7601, which requires that personal information be discarded in a manner that renders it unreadable

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How Long We Keep Information

We retain client records for the periods required by SEC and state recordkeeping rules, generally not less than five years from the end of the fiscal year in which a record was created, and longer where a rule or our policy requires it. Our regulatory retention obligations may prevent us from deleting certain records on request.

Website analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Your Choices and Rights

• Marketing email: you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing message. We will still send communications necessary to service your accounts.

• Access, correction, and deletion: you may ask us what personal information we hold about you and request that we correct or delete it. We will honor the request to the extent our regulatory recordkeeping obligations allow.

• State privacy rights: residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws may have additional rights. Contact us and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

Arizona has not enacted a comprehensive consumer data privacy law. In addition, information subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act is exempt from most state consumer privacy statutes. We respond to requests as described above regardless of whether a statute compels it.

Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for interpreting it, and this site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at the number below.

Email sent to and from the firm may be monitored, archived, and retained as required under SEC rules and by our supervising registered investment advisor.

Please do not use email to send trade instructions or time-sensitive requests. We cannot guarantee that an email will be received or acted on promptly. Call (480) 630-6177 to confirm any time-sensitive instruction.
